Lise Delaplace

She was awarded Best Ballet Teacher of the Year in Provence, 1988. A second career was chosen in visual arts and Lise came to Boston to study. She received a degree in Fine Arts from Tufts University and The School of the Museum of Fine Arts in 1998; while a student there, she was awarded a Pratt Grant for excellent work in clay sculpture. She received an award of distinction from The Brookline Art Society in 1998. Her work was exhibited at The Danforth Museum of Fine Arts in Framingham, Mass., in 1997. She has lived in the USA, Mexico, and Spain which has inspired a great variety of work including: painting, sculpture (including large works for the garden), monoprints, ceramics, and glass.
