Joe Carpineto is a sculptor who works in metals. He produces sculptures that capture and stimulate the imagination in both his Waltham, Massachusetts and London, England, studios. His material, be it from Boston’s “Big Dig,” the “Central Artery” and on occasion, the local dump, is carefully studied, redesigned, worked and welded until the final sculpture becomes a lasting memorial to the skill of Joe’s hands and the artistic creativity of his mind. Most of his work is very large and suitable for outdoor placement.
