Rosalie came to the Cape to live year round in 1970.

"Living here on Cape Cod, I am inspired to paint. My intention is to create PRESENCE, a tactile feeling, a sense of specific time and space."

A master plein air painter and inspired teacher, Nadeau balances powerful color with classical form conveying a unique intensity. Her vibrant paintings are in feature articles in magazines: Pastel Artist International, American Artist, The Pastel Journal, Cape Cod Life and in four internationally distributed art books: Painting the Impressionist Landscape, Pastel School, The Pastel Painter's Solution Book, and on the cover of Painting Shapes and Edges.

The Cape Museum of Fine Arts selected her artwork for their permanent collection, as have corporate and private collections nationwide.

Her prizewinning paintings have earned signature memberships in the Pastel Society of America, Connecticut Pastel Society and Pastel Painters Society of Cape Cod. She is a founding member of both the Cape Cod Plein Air Painters and 21 in Truro.

Left Bank Gallery in Wellfleet, My Sisters Gallery in Sandwich, and Arlene Hecht's Gallery 333 in North Falmouth show her paintings on Cape Cod. Off cape she exhibits at Beauregard Fine Art in Rumson, New Jersey.
